The biggest problem with Souls games is that they ignore canon. There are official facts about the children who fell before Frisk:

1) They all knew how to save, but eventually gave up.

2) All Souls are children.

3) They all died in the Ruins.

4) They left the Ruins through Toriel.

5) The children died at the hands of Asgore.

I love the Underworld universe so much. I hate alternate universes, but this one is my favorite. And why? Because my dear, beloved flower is there. Remember Undertale Nihilism? Remember how we prayed to play such a masterpiece as soon as possible and kneel before its creators? It turned out to be a pretty good story. I strictly avoid fan games, as they're fanservice nonsense for a certain group of people. I've only tried overly loud projects (without unfairly difficult battles with colored skeleton's, I despise that). Of all the games, only UTY caught my attention and even it has its flaws, but for me, it's the only masterpiece. Many liked Nihilism for its graphics and Chara as a ghost, but I liked the idea because of Flowey. Yes, I'm one of those people who is ready to worship any fan game as long as it pays attention to Undertale most important character, I adore him so much🫂

Of course, I can't ignore the fact that Flowey was a SUPER IMPORTANT "tool" there, he's amazing. So, I can't even describe my feelings when I found out that the lead developer turned out to be a complete shit. But you know what's worst? Nihilism is back... Yay? Personally, when I heard what the new developers were saying and planning, I wasn't thrilled: the first chapter will be about 7 hours long, the graphics will be better than any pixel arts, and there will be a ton of new content, slayyyy. Tbh I don't need to tell you that this is complete nonsense. I sincerely want to believe that these guys won't screw anything up, but damn, they've clearly bitten off a piece they can't chew. I hope they understand the power of their abilities, although I doubt it. The original developers are against this project, I can understand them, but only partially. Plus, the project has a simply lousy development history: conflict after conflict, disputes with other developers, secrets and self-confidence. This is an even bigger problem for me because I'm 100% sure the current developers will simply leave Flowey in the shadows and focus all the attention on Sans.

Yes, we still adore this character, we haven't gotten tired of him even after 10 years. Why even bother with Flowey, who is the most charismatic, resourceful, creepy, and powerful character? No thanks, we have Sans, we'll be creating all content exclusively with him. I understand this is a personal issue, but I'm truly afraid that the original idea of ​​Flowey will be discarded for the sake of this skeleton's "coolness." I'd like to see the focus be on the story, not the graphics, amen.
