I definitely think Wyll is the type of person who has so much empathy (and also a need to suffer) that he'd read stories/hear songs about things he's never experienced and still adopt the emotional baggage like it's his own. like I could see him listening to when I was your man by bruno mars and growing despondent like "I should've brought her flowers 😔 I will never take a woman for granted again 😔" even tho he's literally never had a girlfriend before let alone would've actually done that
