So, I hate to ask this. I hate that I genuinely need to, but in the two weeks since my grandmother passed, things have been spiraling out of my control.

She never got to change who the inheritor to her estate was - it used to be her oldest daughter, but my aunt passed away a few years ago. Now she has no executor of estate and her inheritance will be put into an account to pay off her bills and then it will, most likely, go to her last surviving daughter.

My aunt has said, in no uncertain terms, that I am not getting a cent of that money. I took care of nanny for almost a decade, and I desperately need it to survive- but she is not budging on this. Legally there is nothing I can do.

I was supposed to move in with my mom by the end of the month, but she lives three provinces away and all train/bus tickets are genuinely (I've been panic checking for almost a week now) sold out through end of June, all of July and all of August. My landlady/great aunt says I can stay here, but I will need to come up with rent.

I also have a power bill and an internet bill to deal with. When nanny was alive we were surviving off of her monthly pension payment, but now I have nothing.

I'm, of course, looking for full/part-time work (and I paid the rent for June) but it's not easy - and I want to guarantee at least July's rent/bills/grocery expenses.

I genuniely do hate to ask, but I am… terrified. I lost my nanny, then I lost out on inheritance money I truly needed to help me get on my feet.

So, if anyone is capable and able - I know times are tough all around. But I figure I would ask, because this genuinely wonderful community has helped me before, but if you can spare even just a little bit of money - I would appreciate it.

The broad goal is: $1500 USD which I'm not expecting to get, but would encompass rent/bills/groceries. I'm trying to get hired as soon as possible but I have no idea how long that will take.
