it's very important that you're friends with furries and trannies and faggots and freaks and perverts it's good for your soul
reblorg if you're a furry, a tranny, a faggot, a freak and/or a pervert!
If you or someone you know has enrolled in an ROTC college program where you will end up owing money if you choose to drop out and not enlist in the military, you CAN pay the money back the same as you would a loan. The rates will probably be better than the loan rates you would have gotten for normal student loans. You are not "locked in." You have a choice. You do not have to join the military.
also, if you are in ROTC and haven't yet gotten scholarships/completed field training/signed on the dotted line, you are free to leave without owing anything. You can drop your ROTC classes Right Now and there will be no consequences from the military (now depending on when you drop, you might end up with a withdrawal on your transcript, but that doesn't really have any consequences outside of the school)
You can drop out of JROTC at any time!! ROTC is NOT a military contract, you are NOT bound by anything except maybe a student loan if they've paid for some of your college. Paying off a loan leaves you with WAY better options than staying in the program.
I know multiple people who incurred permanent disabilities in ROTC that prevented them from going into the military, so they ended up having to pay the loan back anyway. They wish they had dropped out before they got hurt!
Do not join the US military.
How to draw Black characters. Because it's way too obvious when you drew a white person and gave them Black skin.

If you're an artist please listen to her. PLEASE. 🙏🏾 I cannot stress these tips enough.
this is SUPER helpful, i'm mostly reblogging this just so i can have it to look at because i will admit that i struggle with this- i use basic reference images, and many of those are white people, so i tend to copy white facial features and just give the character darker skin.
thank you so much op, i will use this in the future! ^^
"biological" really just means "state enforced" at this point
"what is your state enforced sex?" "there are two state enforced genders" "use state enforced pronouns to identify students" "transition is against your body's state enforced purpose"
When some TERFs started saying "biological name" (instead of "deadname") it really said this out loud.

Person who wants to do stuff trapped in a body that needs to lie down
it’s ween
The biggest “secret” of adulthood that they haven’t told you
You really don’t need any of those fancy cleaning supplies
Dish soap. Cleans. Everything.
#my next goal is figuring out what cheap thing i cannuse to clean wood surfaces #or at least a better way dust than just buying swiffers endlessly
If it's literally just dust: cotton rag + water, wring it out hard (this will be easier with a larger piece), wipe and rinse off.
…this feels so simple that my brain is like “it can’t be that simple” but it is??
Literally why are there whole STORE AISLES dedicated to cleaning products full of chemicals and dyes when I can just grab some soap and vinegar and water and some rags and empty spray bottles and be done with it??
with an important exception:
DO NOT USE DISH SOAP IN THE DISHWASHER.
You need the dishwashing detergent pacs, gel, or powder (like Cascade) for that. Dish soap (like Dawn or Palmolive) is too concentrated and will volcano bubbles out of your machine for days.
Otherwise, yes, go forth and dish soap.
☝️ Important PSA to save someone’s dishwasher!
October can’t come soon enough
This has been in my likes since last year. It is time.
This is the 21st night of September skeleton. He only appears once a year.
Happy Halloween!!
Another Poll for Non-Maskers!
Non-Maskers - what is your biggest barrier to regularly wearing a mask indoors in public? Please read all answers before answering. If all other barriers were erased, which would still keep you from wearing a mask?
Social - public - stigma/others aren't doing it anymore
Social - personal - would lose friends/family/be treated differently
Financial - masks are expensive
Financial - job would fire you/pay less/be harder
Breathability - just uncomfortable*
Disability - masking isn't feasible/would restrict life activities*
Mental - annoying to keep track of and maintain mask hygiene
Mental - adhd/can't remember
Concerns about efficacy
I already wear a mask indoors regularly
Aesthetic - they look bad. I would mask if they were prettier/more fashionable
*Breathability reason assumes a more breathable mask could overcome this barrier
*Disability reason includes panic attacks, requiring oxygen, very weak lungs that would require an air supply, really anything where your disability would make it difficult or intensely not worth the effort of wearing an n95 or similar
If anyone is interested, there are some workarounds to aesthetic and breathability (LOVE my current masks, and I just found out you can draw on masks and there are very pretty covers that exist), and I have sources on efficacy, but I'm mainly curious as to the personal reasons why people aren't masking.
I'm not here to debate but to understand, so please leave a comment if you'd like to elaborate!

POLL FOR NON-MASKERS
Please read context first and all choices before selecting!
Assume masks are free/provided and they are as comfortable and breathable as possible.
You can still eat at restaurants/public spaces if that's your breaking point, but you would ideally mask when not eating.
You can unmask in your house with others people, just not in public indoors.
We're assuming 100% honesty
Please select the lowest amount you would mask for if offered.
Non-maskers - would you always mask in public indoors if someone paid you? Please read all answers before selecting, I can't reorder choices.
$1/day $7/week ~$30/month
$2/day $14/week ~$60/month
$3/day $21/week ~$90/month
$4/day $28/week ~$120/month
$5/day $35/week ~$150/month
$175/month
$200/month
More than $200
I would do it for free/comfortable/accessible masks
I already mask indoors in public
I wouldn't mask indoors in public again for any amount of money
I would mask for less than $30/month or for something other than cash (explain?)
Link to other poll about biggest barrier here!
oh also? An absolutely freaky thing I'm seeing yt leftists do?
STOP TRYING TO TRACK DOWN PROTESTORS THAT DO 'BADASS STUFF'. STOP POSTING ABOUT IT ONLINE.
PEOPLE FUCKING DIE.
AND IT'S USUALLY SOMEONE MELANATED.
THE GOVERNMENT IS WATCHING YOU FUCKING DUMBASS.
y'all are so stuck on egoistic heroism that every time someone does something 'sick' at a protest you wanna turn them in to the next celebrity to have a parasocial relationship with and then they go missing.
Tf is wrong w y'all.
Friendly reminder that this man is fucking dead.
If you try to praise or draw attention to a specific protester for doing something photogenic THAT IS SNITCHING.
NO YOU *DON’T* KNOW THEM.
SNITCH ACTIVITY
OP ACTIVITY
FED ACTIVITY
IF YOU SEE SOMEONE DO SOME BOSS SHIT NO YOU FUCKING DIDN'T CLOWN
STFU
I see the original post going around every so often and it saddens me a little that it's never accompanied by this thread explaining why it's completely understandable how a child would arrive at these spellings in accordance with english phonetics
does anyone have that quote that goes something like 'white germans under the nazis lived just fine as long as they were loyal to the state, gave their children to the army, and paid their taxes, and in this sense many americans would be comfortable living under fascism' trying to find who said it but google is giving me jack shit
"The concentration camp was never the normal condition for the average gentile German. Unless one were Jewish, or poor and unemployed, or of active leftist persuasion or otherwise openly anti-Nazi, Germany from 1933 until well into the war was not a nightmarish place. All the “good Germans” had to do was obey the law, pay their taxes, give their sons to the army, avoid any sign of political heterodoxy, and look the other way when unions were busted and troublesome people disappeared. Since many “middle Americans” already obey the law, pay their taxes, give their sons to the army, are themselves distrustful of political heterodoxy, and applaud when unions are broken and troublesome people are disposed of, they probably could live without too much personal torment in a fascist state — some of them certainly seem eager to do so. "

OP: This is the first time I've seen the Yellow River's sediment discharge with my own eyes.
There's a Chinese meme that the Yellow River doesn't need rituals to present sacrifices because if it's hungry it'll come onto the shore and eat the sacrifices itself.
#some netizens also say chinese people like unification because only a powerful unified dynasty can survive the yellow river and sometimes #also the chang jiang when they decide to flood and change directions and kill and displace millions #also only large dynasties have the resources to do hydroengineering to try and control the yellow river #yellow river be like: if you don't hydroengineer you die #but if you do you might also die heehee #“we call these our mother rivers not because they are gentle but because we are too scared” tags on above post

I do love that every dog owner who has ever seen this just immediately goes “using that forever”
We say this CONSTANTLY.
