“I don’t know,” Nico says, too-casual. He has his mouth on the underside of Jack’s jaw, all lips, like he’s feeling the shape out for the very first time. He isn’t. “Are your wants only for right now, or are they an all-of-the-time type?” Jack blinks. He leaves both eyes open, surveys the ceiling like it might have the answers. He turns his head to the side, giving Nico a different angle of the same shape, and stares at the Monza trophy in the display case. “All of the time.”

Either Nico and Jack need to focus on their stealth, or just come out lol. They are on the precipice of discovery! A part of me just wanted Jack to answer Quinn with a snarky “well we weren’t discussing the weather.” Or just say “yes, I like him” to Luke. How does Luke not even notice yet! Like you are right there! They are RIGHT THERE! It feels like the Ferrari team (especially poor Dave the trainer and Jack’s PR manager) will find out before Quinn and Luke! Hell, even Santos is super close to the truth!

Someone needs to tell Jack that the truth is not some distant conclusion that nobody would ever deem to piece together, in fact it’s screaming in the face of the world, and everyone is turning a blind eye.

Maybe Quinn knows but is waiting for Jack to feel comfortable enough to tell him so they can talk. But, there is no way Luke is doing the same. The kid is just something else. Sorry for my conspiracy theories, my thoughts are running wild!

Anyway, I am absolutely enamored by Inertia thus far. You are an amazing writer! Truly, so talented! But I beg of you! Please let at least one brothers to wake up to reality soon!

jack is mildly delusional in continuing the insistence that no one could ever possibly figure us out because like. yeah omg you two need to keep it together if you actually want that to be true... he might be right in assuming/hoping nobody will bother bringing it up to him no matter what they might be assuming, but jack can't exactly read their minds. so who knows what everyone is thinking!!! (evil laugh. i know)

both quinn and luke are highkey trying to corner jack into admitting something. they know better than to start pointing fingers but also... come on man... nico and jack are both massive giant stupid idiots who can't keep their mouths shut LIKE. we are having fun here. i am having fun here. hehe
