Always remember that the EU did a study in 2013 about the effects of piracy on media publishers and found that there is no correlation between piracy and sales! (And then they tried to hide that study bc that's not the result they wanted)

If you use photoshopβ or others, I'm not sure if other software uses the same idea βframe delay is all of the work.
It'll never be as smooth as it is on PC, because tumblr mobile compression is the actual great evil.
For a more in depth example than I gave in that post:
This is my standard. It'll either be 0.04 or 0.05. This one is 0.05, but my base is just to go one higher than photoshop auto suggests. It depends on the framerateβ if it's a higher framerate, it'll auto go to 0.03, so I make it 0.04. If it gets set at 0.04, I make it 0.05.
Other people are more specific about what they set and why, but I'm lazy ->
0.06 with the same gif ->
0.07 with the same gif ->
0.08 with the same gif ->
Finally, 0.09 with the same gif. You can go higher, but anything above 5, I don't use. ->

I use a combo of VapourSynth to make my MOV files that I then turn into gifs with photoshop. (I live and die with my cracked version)

I go through pretty much all of the process with written explanations and/or gifs. I'm always hoping that it makes the process maybe a little less scary.
You can do all your sharpening (or, most of it) and resize clips all from vapoursynth and it's stupid easy to drag them into photoshop since there's a video timeline. I find the 'usual' way of making gifs on photoshop pretty clunky. You can just drag the video length around instead of needing specific frame numbers.
The only things I've changed since that tutorial is that I've changed my synth settings slightly + I'm not adding noise manually for the past few days.
