Also being so thrown music wise this month already, spent this past week listening to another lovey-dovey sweetheart of a boyfriend album from Niall, to borderline crying in my morning coffee today and being reminded some guys are just plain awful from Olivia (expectations & my way saved me from complete wallowing)

honestly I think even phoebe didn’t seem right to me in that picture!! but I’m not the best at visualising people when I read them so idk what my expectations of january were but yeah the vibes are not right with anything about this adaptation!! and I saw today emily henry did another interview and spoke on the casting and you can tell it’s not her dream which makes me really sad!! bc she’s spoken before about beach read being her baby out of all the books and that’s just disappointing!!

omg I haven’t even gotten around to niall!! I heard a song on the radio on the way to work the other day and liked it so I’ll give it a listen when I can pull myself from olivia hahaha

literally!! I keep thinking about how well crafted the album is and how it all turns and decays in purple when she talks about how it all turns black and then after that it makes you look at the first half differently like how in maggots for brains that first listen is a little like ??? this one is crazy but then after you’ve listened to the album in full it’s almost like foreshadowing?

honestly I don’t want to pick favourites but stupid song really is that girl!!
