Despite the name, this blog is not just for Vocaloids and vocal synths from all engines such as Utau, CeVIO ect are allowed, and the name is just for clarity's sake.
Submit an image you like of an MCR member in the ask box and I'll do my best to match it to an iteration of a vocal synth, or vice versa! You can submit images and merchandise of MCR members, associated MCR characters such as the Killjoys/Illi McMillin/Helena ect, images of vocal synth box art, ingame modules, song thumbnails, figures, and all other official artwork.
I will not accept fanart of MCR or vocal synths unless it can be clearly sourced the artist in question is okay with reposts.
For MCR fans: what is Vocaloid? It is a vocal synthesiser program released by Yamaha. Originally a tool for musicians needing vocals, the release of MEIKO and KAITO in 2004-2006 marked the beginning of character mascots being associated with voicebanks. This was solidified by the release of a virtual idol called Hatsune Miku, which caused Vocaloid's popularity to explode. Miku's appeal comes from how she can be anything you want her to be as she has no established canon, and depictions of her in songs can drastically differ from one to the next.
Admin uses they/them and has been a Vocaloid fan for 13 years. Posts are not bot automated nor are posted regularly, they go up when admin feels like it. Currently, the frequency is about a post once per day.

-I like RPF but probably will not interact with you if you primarily post Waycest
-I will not post AI generated or modified images of the band members
BYI for Vocaloid fans:
-I consider Rin and Len siblings but I don't care if people ship them in a selfslash way
-I appreciate the voicebanks have fluid, non-canon ages. I consider a voicebank and a character separate. That being said, if you sexualise the primary mascots that are minor characters I will probably look at you weird
-I will not make any posts that feature Senbonzakura or "lolibait" songs (ex Kanzen Choukaku Lolita Complex, Mimukawa Nice Try, zaako)
-I think it's a non-issue to call other vocal synth voicebanks (eg Utau, CeVIO) 'Vocaloids'
-I will not post AI generated artwork/modules/ect
-I like Project Sekai lol
