my parents said i should vote restore, no fucking way

ngl i think they all kinda suck like even green i agree w alot of their policies but with the state of the world and the possibility of a world war i feel like getting rid of nucleur weapons is a crap idea ykwim we do need to defend the country ina way

look i respect all beliefs but a book shouldnt dictate whether or not u act like an asshole.

Its like saying “oh well I dont support u eating cakes cuz IM on a diet”

even if ur religious book says shi against lgbtq u should follow ur own morals ina way iykwim like have the common sense not to be homophobic and to be supportive of ppl who r lgbtq. That doesnt mean u have to go to pride parades and allat it means treating lgbtq as u would anyone else, using peoples correct name and pronouns, being there for ppl who r queer especially if they’re experiencing homophobia

this fucking society created all that “skinny” propaganda but its perfectly ok to be fat

but actually its like way healthier to be fat than skinny so long as ur not overweight to the point its actually affecting ur health but even then ur still beautiful its just health is very important

we as a society overly advertise weightloss drugs, portray skinny as this amazing thinh in stuff like disney princess, this widespread diet culture and those who fatshame ppl then we wonder why so many ppl have eating disorders-

same w beauty standards like having perfect skin, men being all muscular, acting like ageing (a perfectly natural process btw) is suddenly awful and not always directly but by advertising all these products and representing stuff badly in the media

ik insecurity happens regardless unfortunately but the beauty standards these days (especially for women) are AWFUL and if we we as a society lowered the standards it would help alot

what i mean by especially for women is: society wants them to be skinny to an unhealthy extent, perfect skin, cant wear anything too revealing or ur a “slut” and the list goes on and on and on and-

yes im aware men can also have insecurities and eating disorders and i think that aint spoken abt enough cuz ppl tend to think that is only rly women and men r seen as “weak” if they open up but generally they have significantly lower beauty standards than women do so obviously theyre not as widely affected

me: doesnt scream on the uks biggest rollercoaster and can watch horror movies without flinching
