I wish, but no. My parents are old and their bedroom is downstairs, so they cant, as it’s difficult for mom to climb stairs and dad needs sleep

Plus we share a room so im expected to do it (hopefully only until Hose [older brother] gets married and moves out so she gets his room) when Lils (older sister) has work and is too tired to do so or just doesnt feel like it.

Lwk, the main reason i do it is bcuz the little Princess (younger sister) gets nightmares so wont let me turn off the lights at night (ignoring the fact that she literally has nightlights everywhere, including one in her pillow fort, and i always leave the hallway lights on and the door open, but ok)

So once either i remember that we technically have a curfew of 11 (imposed by Lili, if dad had it his way, we would be in bed like, 9 or 10, but dad doesnt have the energy for that anymore so) or her tablet dies and she begs me to unlock it for her (usually around 1 or 2 am), i disconnect my headphones, force her to lay down in bed, sit down next to her so she doesn’t get up or get scared, and put a sleep playlist on while playing like, Blockblast or Zen Word or Sudoku till i hear her snore, meaning i can reconnect my headphones, plug in my phone, and finally return to my bed
