Watching Assad Zaman in any interview is wild because you sit there, you see him smiling, laughing, being playful and gesturing, and you're like "why do I feel like I have never seen him do any of these movements or expressions before? I watch the show he's in," and then it hits you. It's because Armand has never been happy or relaxed a single day in his entire life.

YKW a lot of things were wrong with this season but I do think they succeeded with Marius. Lestat talks about him like he’s a silly, oddball, lighthouse keeper of a paternal figure, sitting next to babystat like for a family photo, smiling fondly at Lestat in his mental vision. It makes you almost… almost forget about “Amadeo had a skill”. (not if ur a real armander like me but ygwim)
