im crying laughing so a few months ago i saw this restaurant sell tea-infused gins and i love gin so i bought two bottles in different flavors. unfortunately at least one of them tastes like dogshit. however, in most of my social groups i am one of if not the only heavy drinker, so i was really struggling w what to do with the bottle when i got an invite to visit a friend who also likes drinking. they're a much more adventurous drinker than me so i asked if they were interested in trying the bottle and they said yes, so i brought it over a five hour drive and told them that NO MATTER WHAT i would NOT be taking the bottle back ('you can pour it into the curb if you want' was said). so they didn't like it either but kept it and i didn't think abt what came of that horrid bottle until today, when a fellow friend who's much younger messaged me like 'so you remember that bottle you brought to [x]'s party? that was dogshit huh' and proceeded to inform me that them trying that gin was 1) the first time they'd gotten drunk (unfortunate) and 2) the bottle was eventually handed over to another friend upon whom it 'grew like a fungus' 😭😭
