because we’re charkram posting today: there’s something unique to them as a duo when it comes to their roles as Guardian and Librarian, specifically. Like, they’re all her librarians but he’s still her Librarian. They’re both outsiders in a way that intertwines with each other. He’s the man out of time and she’s the woman rejected from the Library. They both have something to prove and everything to lose. They’re unconventional in ways that compliment each other. They need the entire team to function but it was always going to be them leading the others because they are two parts of one whole.

Tangentially, this is probably why I’m drawn to viknorlie as my ot3, because Connor was also rejected by an institution he loved and was desperate to prove himself and seek adventure. Lysa’s issues obviously relate to the others, but in an inverse, more personal way.
