#really do want a scene with her where she tells u one thing vs u use the tadpole. u see something completely different #i think when u go in her head and see her memories you’re just suddenly struck #with this deep and intense borderline overwhelming. Fear. Dread. Yearning and Devotion.#that gets mixed into one goop soup and it settles in your bones. every insight you get of her past carries that feeling #but when she talks about her past she’s like vadalma is so diva and lolth is a cuntress periodddd menzo is for baddies only 🤤🤭#like girl what ….. can we address the elephant in the room….. and when you bring that up she will be genuinely confused.#thinks you’re making up a lie. are you tricking me? hehe u nearly got me 🤭 but u have to try harder than that 🤭 i am no fool…! 🤭🤭🤭🤭#but thinking abt shri’iia being the last to know about this little habit of hers. and the companions kinda. figures it out.#there’s a scene in act 3 with Orin infiltrating the camp and shri’iia’s paranoia flares to the point that she was willing to turn against #everyone. she only realises she’s been tricked when the disguise fades away #and after Orin leaves she has to settle with that uncomfortable truth that she nearly did just do that #they are also equally like. girl what the fuck. and shri’iia doesn’t know why she did that…..#doesn’t understand why she was so quick to do that. doesn’t know why she believed in such a blatant lie #and it IS humiliating bc shri’iia wants to try trusting them 😭that’s what her act 2 scene is all about 😭😭#she wants to try trusting in her companions. she wants to learn what her role is in this world. she wants to pursue this new path #even if she feels lost most of the time. what’s important is that she’s willing to do it #but then she is quick to turn around the moment she gets scared…girl why is that…….#and afterwards I think the habit of rewriting what happened in her head starts to kick in. Shri’iia starts to claim things about that night #that are untrue. she will start to say she let Orin believe that to get her guard down (a lie)#or she had no plans to go against everyone at all (a lie) but they all know what happened. so why are you lying.#its rlly another case of shri’iia getting entangled on what she belives in even if they are contradictory or untrue #to the point that she makes ties herself up to a knot.#she’s a chronic liar because she knows the real truth isn’t relevant ; the truth is just what others are made to believe #and she believes in these things to soften what really happened (in most cases). so it’s easier to stomach. but there comes a #time where she’ll end up getting buried under all her lies. and they’ll collapse on her. house of hope scene 😮‍💨
