Sometimes you just have to accept that a person’s perspective on you isn’t what you hoped it to be. There’s gonna be people out there who dislike you because you took too long in the queue to pack your change away. There’s gonna be people who dislike you because they only caught the tail end of a conversation you had with a friend. People may dislike you because you laughed too loudly in public once.

But you gotta remember that with the bad also comes the good!! People out there may remember you as someone who held a door open for them. They may remember you as someone who got excited when you saw their puppy. Even something as small as cleaning up after yourself in a cafe, which saved them a little extra work.

I know it’s hard not to focus on the negative aspects and worry about the way people see us, but I promise you that you’ll feel better when you realise that not everyone will accept you at your face value, and that it’s okay!! You know who you are, and what you represent. The people that truly matter will see that.
