This makes me quite angry. Reducing the trans feminist movement to “grrr men” is so disingenuous. Why are trans women not allowed to discuss the misogyny they face within their own community? It’s not “splitting hairs” or “making up things to be mad about”, it’s a central flaw within the trans movement that threatens to render the entire thing useless.

The idea that “women are just as much to blame for sexism as men” is so so deeply ignorant. Why should we be expected to shut up and be polite for the sake of “trans unity”? Why can’t men be expected to treat women better? Is that too outlandish a request?

This has been a line used again and again to quash internal feminist movements within larger marginalized groups. It has been done to black women, to working class women, to women of every stripe and creed. We are told “sit down and wait your turn. Smile for the camera, we’re all united here. Don’t put yourself before the needs of the whole”

But we can’t be real. We must be CIA plants. What REAL trans woman would ever feel the need to complain about her treatment at the hands of those who are supposed to relate to and understand her.

I am not a separatist, though I understand the pain that motivates them, I just want feminism and more specifically trans feminism to have a place within the trans movement. Thats all I ask.

There is no attempt in this or any similar post to actually address the issues central to this rise in inter community tensions. People are just putting their fingers in their ears and pretending this problem which threatens the very basis of trans/gender theory is a “distraction”.

It’s the same shit that was done to black bloggers when they kicked up a stink about the racism of white liberals and the blue no matter who crowd. They were banned en masse and labeled “psyops” and “Russian bots”

These complaints are not shit stirring or drama for the sake of drama, they are pointing out foundational flaws in progressive doctrine and thinking

What is transness if not a repudiation of the gender hierarchy!? How can we let this continue in our own house??? Do we really want to try appeasement? Do we want to roll over and accept our status as the lesser versions of “real men” and “real women”? Are we content perpetuating the same system that has murdered and tortured us for generations?
