I do think we have a habit of discussing abortion, even in feminist conversations, in deeply misogynist ways. I think there is an impulse to discuss abortion in some form of moral framework, and I think it's incorrect most of the time. The older I get, the more I understand, the more I find troubling the need to cast the abortion seeking woman as someone who can be morally understood in this case of abortion, as if there is little doubt that a woman can be immoral when seeking an abortion. I think the discussion of wanted pregnancies, complicated health issues, familial concerns, ideological desires...I just think at the end of the day it's not important why. I really don't need to understand why a woman wants an abortion, I really don't need her to be a tragic story for me to care. I think her adult autonomy is motivating enough. I think a lot of people struggle to see women as truly autonomous beings in their own right, and so abortion as an issue of simple body autonomy is just too uncomfortable for most people even when they are sympathetic to women. I really truly believe fundamentally in absolute, unconditional abortion. There is not a single condition you could dream up that would cause me pause.

The way all the 2020s have done so far have been making me categorically against every new generation of tech that comes out is insane. Like I'm from a technological boom generation, saw the first portable phones, nokias & blackberries & flipphones etc, and the first smartphones, and the first ipods & ipads & tablets in general while still having cassettes & DVD & MP3 players around so I know how all of it work, I had computer classes in high school, I did the transition between home desktop computers to laptops and back to gaming computers. But then they started to put internet in your printer & microwave, everything has ads & AI now and every update is worst than the last. I literally loved technology and they ruined it

I’m really enamored with the dynamic of two characters who work perfectly in tandem, like pacific rim drift compatible level, but they don’t like each other. It’s not even as strong an emotion as hate it’s just a very neutral-negative dislike, but they still act in perfect concert and their individual abilities are fully complementary
