if anything, I think it’s better if these people feel comfortable enough to tag their stuff as ai, so that other people can avoid their works if they’re not comfortable with ai-generated contents.

that said, I think ai writers will stop tagging their stuff as ai entirely if people shame or harass them for it.

so now their stuff is still ai, just untagged, meaning there’s no way for others to know if it’s ai.

keep in mind that speculation, accusations and witch hunt harm genuine artists and writers as much as ai does, if not more.

so if you go to the “ai-generated” tag on ao3 just to harass people for using ai, just know that you’re not actually fighting against ai — you’re just being a bully and you’re also making people more wary of properly tagging their ai-generated works as such. so you’re just making sure they no longer tag their ai-generated stuff as ai. also you can be reported for harassment, and ao3 will not take your side. (whether or not you like it, ai-generated works are allowed on ao3, whereas harassment is not.)

the “ai-generated” tag on ao3 is there so people can either find or avoid works with ai (but in order for it to work, ai users must feel comfortable enough to be honest and tag their works properly, that won’t happen if people keep shaming and harassing them for it — the only thing harassment will do is make sure ai stuff go untagged, harassment doesn’t stop people from using ai).

So yes. AI generated works is allowed on Ao3, because people will use AI whether you like it or not.

You don't go harassing people because they have written a [insert here your worst ick] fic, you don't go harassing them for tagging a fic AI. Remember the old saying "Don't like? Don't read"

I have lived in an extremely rural town in the Colorado Rockies most of my life. I remember watching the movie and thinking ‘wow, that looks like it might be monarch pass or maybe up the hill from me above Crested Butte in one of the resorts.’

Anyways. I’m now writing them in the Colorado Rockies in all my fics where Raccoon City doesn’t fall cause I like the idea of Claire going to Wasted State (Western Colorado University, which literally exists right outside my front door, it is literally the first thing you see when you open the door it’s less than 200ft from me) and riding her damn bike out of town and maybe a couple over- because I doubt this is near Montrose, I’m putting Raccoon City maybe in a fantasy peak like closer to Delta than Gunnison, which would mean that Claire would have stopped in Delta and met Leon there in the gas station and then proceeded forward into RC.

Anyways. I need Chris taking Leon on a hike to ‘get all that excited energy out’ because he keeps being told to babysit the new rookie so he’s teaching him tracking and shit but Leon is like a bouncy puppy with all this nature around and Chris is considering trading his neighbor for a blunt to mellow him out a bit.

Also, making them be a historical Colorado Rockies town and then having the RPD be inside of an old museum??? Yes this is something a Rockies town would do, 1000000%, not even storing away the books and museum artifacts included. Also the idea of all the people going in and out of NEST being unnoticed???? Yeah so they would fly into Gunnison airport whereupon everyone in our town would say ‘oh that guys rich, he’ll send someone out for groceries once a week and we won’t see him again til he flies back out, IF THAT’ and that’s honestly just how people live up here. On the road to Montrose you pass like 50 VISIBLE mansions/massive houses, and those are just the ones you can see. The mountains are dotted with big fancy rich bitch houses. No one would question scientists living in NEST because no one would even REALIZE.
