"Women want to be loved like roses. They spend hours perfecting their eyebrows and toes and inventing irresistible curls that fall by accident down the back of their necks from otherwise austere hair-dos. They want their lover to remember the way they held a glass. They want to haunt.

A woman submerged in water (bathtub, ocean…), maybe swimming, and the dark triangle of her bush is just present against her nude body. The ever-loved transparent gowns and lingerie, showing soft areolas, shimmering outlines, and, a lovely contrast, clearly visible under the shifting fabric, her bush. A body flashing past, under a dress or coat etc, a tease, but, there, for a moment, the sight of her bush.

Solitude had made her secretive—self-manipulated. Years of haunting had dulled her in ways you wouldn't believe and sharpened her in ways you wouldn't believe either.
