Don't know if you'll see this but... SuperBat established relationship whump idea. Bruce gets captured by the Rogues, held beneath Arkham and subjected to repeated doses of Fear gas as well as a lot of physical torment in an attempt to break him. It almost works until Clark shows up, rescues Bruce and gets him to the Fortress for care. (In a brief moment of lucidity, Bruce begs not to be taken back to the cave, he doesn't wanna hurt his kids). Clark is able to soothe Bruce through the fear gas and the withdrawals from it using hypnosis. Lulling a Rabid, feral bat into a snuggly, sleepy Bat.

Bruce is completely feral when under fear gas influence. He scratches, kicks, punches and even bites.
Clark needs to restrain him with their capes to stop Bruce from hurting himself.
Just like Bruce asked, Clark doesn't bring him to the Cave but to the Fortress, where with the help of his robots, he puts Bruce in a trance.
Like this, Bruce can't hurt himself or someone(mostly himself), and Clark can give him the cure for the gas and tend to his wounds.
Bruce is slipping through his hands like water when Clark brings him to bed. There's still hours of recovery ahead of him, but at least he's calm and sleeps peacefully nuzzled into Clark's chest.
