Writing slow burns? does that count?I love letting relationships breathe and making the payoff feel earned so I really hope that comes across!
Humour. i like to think I've become much more confident letting my own dry sense of humour and personality creep into my writing instead of trying to write "perfectly." it helps that its so much more fun that way!
The little things. i have always worried that I over-explain or linger on tiny details for too long, but comments and asks have helped me realise that that is a strength not a weakness
Making everything feel cohesive. this is such a niche one, but I love tying everything together: the title, the summary, the quote I always include, the header image, the dividers... I love when a fic feels like it has its own little identity before you've even started reading.
Characterisation. i put a lot of thought into making characters still feel like themselves, even in completely different situations or AUs. if someone comments that the characters felt true to themselves or that they enjoyed my interpretation of them, I genuinely think that's one of the best compliments you can receive.
