generic faction based liveries, insignia, and associated support aircraft (as well as full designs for two characters who are not originally aircraft)

the factions shown are based off this year's teams. i did not come up with proper names for any of them, but i would assume they have actual names.

comedy is a fairly large country enroaching on tragedy (similarly large nation)'s borders. mystery is a relatively small state providing support and state-sanctioned mercenary forces to aid comedy.

tragedy is affiliated with the project wingman pacific federation (this is solely because of PK tyrian being in tragedy); all related characters were thus thrown there.

the exact situation here is a bomber intercept from the comedy faction gone wrong due to every single federation peacekeeper squadron being on station leading into a call for reinforcements and the entire situation spiralling into the Obligatory Mid-Game Ace Combat Furball Mission

characters were assigned first according to what'd make sense for the character's lore, and then if it could go either way they were then sorted according to the artist's team. not all characters are depicted with roundels, though, but where they were placed and in what situation were informed by the team they'd been assigned to :]

also yes both mobius-1s and both nemos were explicitly pitted against each other because i thought it'd be funny.
