I will say, as someone who joined the murder drones fandom around the time ep five came out, and then left it, I’m SHOCKED at how much more popular Vuzi is (I’ve even seen a lot more N/V/Uzi !!!) and I’m a little irritated that we didn’t have this hype when I was first into it. PLEASE I NEEDED THAT I WAS RE-READING THE SAME LIKE FIFTEEN FICS NIGHTLY WHEN I LEFT THIA PLACE 😭😭😭
#/silly#autophobia’s rambles#murder drones#vuzi#man I both miss and don’t miss the old fandom#they would BEHEAD you back in the day if they disagreed with u.for those who weren’t there#but#it was such a lovely small community#I think 2024 was my favorite year for the fandom#Mass Destruction and Absolute End really bonded us together for a little bit#idk it was sorta like the last night at summer camp#when like everyone’s favorite councilor plays a song on the guitar and everyone sobs#but like. it’s not just sobbing it’s sobbing WITH people you’ve known for some time now#it’s sobbing over saying goodbye to something you all love. there was a really strong sense of community that I haven’t seen even in TDAC#I don’t know if I’ll ever be as involved in fandom as I once was#but there was a time:)#it was really comforting to me all through middle school#middle school was HARD for me and it was a lifeline almost. it kept me afloat when nothing else could#TDAC is great but alas nothing has been able to replace Murder Drones for me#it’s a story I keep tucked in a little part of my chest#I don’t visit it often anymore but sometimes I like to remind myself it’s still there#I’m different now#but whenever I turn of ANYTHING Murder Drones related I feel a little bit safer#HOLY YAPFEST#sorry
