when i was visiting subreddits about endometriosis or pcos, there was a lot of pressure on the inclusivity of language

why isn't it a thing in literally any other places? why aren't labour unions writing about workers in this way? working and unemployed folks, functional and momentarily stagnant bodies?

why are we specifically pressured to change, include everyone who feels like it and walk on nomenclature shells so we don't hurt anyone's feelings in the process of describing our own - often crippling and debilitating - pain?

we don't even know why exactly endometriosis happens. we don't know shit about it, compared to literally anything connected to male anatomy. their pain is an emergency, ours is a status quo

Male power at it's finest. This is where giving men rights or power was always going to lead: them installing a grid of cameras to follow women and children and make it easier to traffick us.

Males have colonized and destroyed the entire earth. They don't have the means yet to colonize space.

So what does that leave?

Women and womanhood.

This is why I'm anti-trans. Because this movement and ideology erases women. It erases our history, identity, and our bodies. It erases the language we use to fight for ourselves and each other. It erases the sacredness of being a woman.

most of them were like “everyone told me I should become a nurse or a pediatrician” and “people assume that I don’t know what I’m doing” you know, your average sexist bs

one of the women’s last name was starboard (yeah I know great name) and she was talking about how even though now she was one of the most accomplished surgeons at the hospital, the male scrub techs (read: guys who didn’t go to fucking medical school) and some of the male doctors call her starbitch in the OR because they (scrub techs mostly, strangely enough) try to suggest different ways to care for the patient and she always tells them no you didn’t go to med school and I did and so they would go out of their way to get the male doctors to treat the patient differently and then she would have to argue with him to prove what she was doing es right but sometimes the male doctor would come and take over the case anyway and this went on for a while

but then the hospital statistics changed bc this woman was literally being prevented from treating her patients bc the men were interfering and so the administrative head heard about this (she was female) and she was like y’all better stop or y’all better start looking for new jobs and then starboard was allowed to work on her patients and got the scrub techs replaced and all of the sudden, the patients were suddenly doing much better during and after surgery.

when she told this story she was like “people still call me a bitch, and maybe I am because I won’t let them walk all over me, but when you’ve got something to do, when you’ve got a life to save, you have to ignore their bullshit so that you can save someone’s fuckin life. Sexism should never stop you from accomplishing that”

Yes, I am aware that some women get implants to achieve that sort of aesthetic, if you can even call it that. I'm critical of them and genuinely think they contribute, albeit to smaller degree than men do, to the way women who are naturally shaped like that are treated just for existing the way they do. Being female and having curves often means you get attention that feels degrading, and that starts so young for so many of us. Women like Kylie Jenner getting implants and going out of their way to highlight it in a suggestive manner treat large breasts like an accessory and a way to appear sexier. People are still uncomfortable around mothers breastfeeding their infants, the free the nipple movement fizzled out. Don't tell me this is a neutral subject.

I still think there's a very, very significant difference between women who buy into and perpetuate these beauty standards vs clearly pornsick men who have a fetish for this sort of stuff.

Even if this is sarcasm, which honestly I can never tell with these people, what a gross sentiment. Women and girls getting horrible back pain and unwanted male attention don't feel more feminine because of their pain.

They're never escaping the hentai addicted allegations, are they? You'll never be like an anime girl, they don't bloody exist, and you are a MAN.

Yet again, just like they view periods and birth, they're treating our suffering like a positive. Women don't get enjoyment from these things. I suppose years of watching porn where female pain is treated as sexually appealing gave these men the impression that constantly suffering and finding oneself in inconvenient situations is a key aspect of womanhood and, therefore, inherently sexual.
