i know I've been saying this for months, but soon it's gonna start clicking for y'all that the end goal of cuts to American social safety nets (medicare, medicaid, SNAP, EBT, WIC, etc) is to force women into total economic reliance on men, especially poor women. Sure, the wealthy want poor men to be wage-slaves pretty badly, too, but the real goal is a total dismantling of women's liberation

I think the problem is in the (anthropocentric) choice of hat style. Option B is obviously facetious as the hat doesn't shield the eyes from sun or the actual head from the elements. Option C could obstruct peripheral vision, and for a herbivorous dinosaur, that could mean death. It would also be prone to catching the wind and flying off. I think option A is the most promising due to the placement and size of the brim, but rather than a rigid crown with a hole in it, the top part should perhaps be long and soft, like a sock. Kind of like a beanie wizard hat.

There's also the additional aspect that if luxuries are what's expensive, you can choose to go without and then you don't have to make so much money. You can choose to work part-time, or seasonally, or one person can provide for a group, if living is cheap and you don't need luxury. But if being alive is expensive, you have no choice but to work a lot, regardless of how frugal your lifestyle is. And then you may as well buy yourself the latest gadget to cheer yourself up after another annoying week at work, because it costs barely anything anyway.
