I saw a tiktok the other day talking about men putting women they encounter into one of three boxes (1. Would never fuck, 2. Would fuck but not date, and 3. Would fuck and date) and it’s not new information but a light really went off in my head when the guy making the tiktok said that men will TEMPORARILY lower their standards for a hookup, which is where you end up with a thousand women saying they’re in “situationships” when in reality, the guy considers her below him but temporarily overlooks it to hook up.
