his name was alex pretti.

alex pretti was a us citizen and a nurse, someone whose entire job was literally to keep people alive. he was filming, trying to help, trying to de-escalate and border patrol agents tackled him, pepper-sprayed him, pinned him down, and shot him multiple times in seconds.

i know i’m not from the us, but i have a lot of people here who are. people who live there, people who are close to it, people who are affected by this every single day. and honestly? what is happening there disgusts me.

they tried to rewrite the story, but the videos exist. the truth exists. this was state violence, a man murdered by the same system that claims it’s about “security.”

and before anyone says “why do you care if you’re not american”: because injustice doesn’t need a passport and silence helps the people pulling the trigger.

He has also eaten a few optics, gifted to him by some of his gladiator friends that had earned them in battle. Everyone is well aware of his tendencies, but no one is judging of it. More so curious. People like to let him try their energon, and have the taste described to them, because everyone tastes different to him. To a regular mecha, energon tastes rather disgusting. In fact, it has become a trademark for him within the public, as he is something of a celebrity. The people find his interests in consuming others to be rather attractive. He has fans.

My son is a good mecha, only slightly unique. His alt-mode is that of a dragon, and so he can eat mecha whole, when transformed.

I have also done something as such. My people have starved before, especially those of us who were enslaved, which makes a good percentage of our population. Many of us had to resort to consuming each other for survival, both consensually and non consensually. Out of necessity, desperation, and a pure need for fuel. It was cannibalism, or death. I chose, and so did many others. And biting is definitely well accepted with my people, a common expression of love.
