I wanna write about Jinshi's grief over the fact that he's still the second in line

I wanna write about Leto being Zeus' greatest love

Okay, so the new intro is so so good. I like the intrigue. I like Superboy disappearing, I'm worried for my boy but I'm so so excited

I love the first look at bald Alex. And, yes, I know Alex is Lex Luthor and he HAS to be bald, but I got to Alex being Alex and having hair. And, I'm glad episode 1 doesn't just put bald Alex front and centre. I'm glad my boy has his hair.

In a similar vien, Im so glad the homosexual couple (Alex and Slade) are back. I never thought anything could make me like Slade but here we are. I like Slade because yaoi. I will now definitely pick up his comics.

SUPERBOY!!!!!! I'm so so excited for him.

Enough about men.

My girl, Kara Zor-El, is a deeply complicated individual and I love her. I love that her struggles don't end just because she's one of the good guys now. I love that she is the first to sympathise with Bizarro and understand he was a son rather than a weapon.

I love that she can't grieve properly or even know where to start in unpacking everything that happened to her.

I love that the show knows how to balance between being lighthearted and being serious. I love that they care about these characters so much they let them shine. I love that they are willing to make Kara both incredibly complex and good.

Yes, we saw all of Kara's characterisation in s2, but I just love it so so much and I love that we get more of her complexity. I love it so much. And, Kara is my favourite dc superhero and she never gets to shine in shows or movies. She has few adaptations and the ones were she gets to shine (imo) are Justice League Unlimited and this show.

I don't like CW Supergirl and nothing will make me like that show. I appreciate it for giving us SuperCorp but that's it.

I love Kara so much, I want an entire My Adventures With Supergirl.
