the song really did fit ruthye’s situation so well. if you listen to the lyrics instead of biased dorks online. it’s actually a really good pairing. i also think the cover was a better fit too. “it just takes some time” it will take her time to heal (if even possible) & to understand her emotions. she’s a kid confused, grieving, hurting, angry, & vengeful. it’s all so fresh and it happened so fast but everything won’t always be as it is now..it will take time. “little girl you’re in the middle of the ride” she traveled far away and ended up in crazy situations, multiple huge battles, a prison, a space bus, in constant danger because that’s where her pain, bravery, perseverance, and anger led her. “everything everything will be alright” she met kara, which i feel was someone she needed. while kara had her struggles she was a great influence on ruythe especially not letting her kill krem. she got to celebrate with kara for kara’s birthday and will become a sword smith like her father under the care and guidance of her aunt. the lyrics fit beautifully and i’ll always love supergirl.

how do i explain to someone that superman birthed me solely (my father), but we’re also married, but im also his bestfriend and soulmate across all universes, but im also him at the same time?? 🤔🤔

and while we’re at it i loved the “needle drop” the song/cover is catchy and it fit the theme and scene. the lyrics also make a lot of sense. makes me a little emotional though 😭
