Yes!  In the original series they were high schoolers.  We see them attend a school dance.  “Meddling kids” is meant literally.  In recent series and movies, they are generally still assumed to be high schoolers.  They refer to themselves as “teen detectives” and have been told that their minor status is the only thing keeping them out of trouble with the law for meddling.  It should generally be assumed that they are minors except for rare instances such as the ‘98-’01 films where they are maintaining careers or visiting an old high school friend at his college and the ‘02/ ‘04 live action films where they are obviously adults playing adults.  There are a few instances in the 80s where they make references to have already graduated and/or seem like they’re adults but most of it is speculation and since they hadn’t really changed since ‘69 it’s safer to say that they were still minors via cartoon logic.  And, as I mentioned before, they are a kids franchise.  So minors or not, it’s whack.

Yes, thank you!  Shaggy’s also an athlete (he’s mentioned to be both a gymnast and a track man in the original series) so he’s gonna be extra hungry on top of being a growing kid!

A great dane can run over 35 miles an hour and Shaggy keeps up with Scooby. Yes, he’s an athlete.
