Guilt Lingers. (Jinlan City Pt.1)

[ID: A Scum Villain Comic. Panel one depicts Chibi! Plant! Yuan kneeling down in front of a pedestal containing Luo Binghe's memorial tablet. It is engraved with his name and a lotus. On the pedestal is a pink floral sword tassel and the demonic butterfly that would most commonly follow LBH. The purple demonic butterfly rests on top of SY's head. It then shows SY noticing SJ!Shen Qingqiu's presence behind him and turning his head to face towards him, saying "Oh hello, A-die. This one thought you'd still be at the peak lord meeting." Chibi!SQQ, holding his hand to the door frame and looking off to the side replies "It ended early. This master along with Mu-shidi and Liu-shidi will be heading to Jinlan City to render aid."

Panel two shows Chibi!SY closing off his expression and turning away from SQQ as he says "Ah. This Yuan wishes A-die luck on this mission. Should I warn Ming Fan not to go on any night hunts while you're gone?" SQQ closes his eyes in slight embarrassment/awkwardness as he replies "Ah- Well-" then mumbles "This father wishes..." as he whips out a fan. Chibi!SQQ uses the fan to cover his mouth and he turns away slightly, dropping his hand from the door frame. He states that "Mu-Shidi recommended A-Yuan joins us. This master is inclined to agree."

Panel three shows SY turning more fully towards SQQ with a surprised expression, his eyes widening and bringing one hand up to his chestas he says "Really? A-die's never let me on a mission like this before-" SQQ closes his fan and holds it in both hands as he replies "A-Yuan is older now. And he will be with this master. Unless, Yuan wishes to stay?" Chibi!SY panics slightly raising both hands up in front of him as he startles causing the butterfly to fly off his head as he frantically says "No-! This disciple would love to help!"

Panel four has SQQ giving SY a slight happy expression as he says "Then A-Yuan should go collect his things. We leave first thing tomorrow." Chibi!SY replies "Right!" as he stands up and brushes himself off. Chibi!SY runs past Chibi!SQQ, who is looking at him with a warm smile, as he excitedly whispers to the butterfly flying slightly in front of him "Did you hear that? An actual night hunt!"

The mirror replied "To whom?"

"The miller who made the flour for my bread," the queen would say, or "Whoever spun the thread my shawl was made of".

Video games kinda suck at designing female heroes

In 2002, the photographer Howard Schatz published a photo collection called "Athlete" featuring pictures of, well, various top athletes from every sport and genre. These are some of the women he photographed, and the thing I want you to do in your head is compare the variety of humans that you're seeing here to the variety of humans you see in the cast list of your favourite video games.

These women are all in peak human condition for their fields - if you wanted to design a character who is tough and strong, these are the kinds of bodies you should look to for reference on what that looks like. You tell me how many video games or comics or movies or anime create their characters with even this limited variety in shape and size.
