And to the people who go “oh well you get representation”—not always accurate bud. Please try again. Plus, many times is it offensive and using Jewish stereotypes.

because princess speaks tagalog without an accent, but she has the basic american english accent which tells me she was probably born and raised in the philippines before immigrating to the us at a young age. meanwhile, perlah does have an accent when she speaks in tagalog, the same accent a lot of americans have when they speak it, which tells me she was probably born and raised in the us.

It follows a bank clerk who wakes up one day, and is arrested/prosecuted for a crime, but he is never told what he did wrong, and the police just keep moving the goal posts and coming up with new ways in which he is guilty.

Why were you silent when it was Israeli women, and why did you think it would stop there?

Non Jews want Jewish allyship while praising people like Kayne West as geniuses, if he was a white man you would call him a white supremacist and a nazi.

Grey’s Anatomy, for all its diversity, had one Jewish character in the original main cast and it was mostly played for the humor of the unexpected. She has a Jewish stepfather and her mother is implied to have converted when they got married. It doesn’t come up a lot and her name is literally Cristina. I haven’t kept up with the show, I think there has been at least one other Jewish character in the main cast since, but Cristina was it for a long time.

House had two Jewish characters in the original main cast but it rarely came up, even when Cuddy and Wilson became more central to the story and certainly never had the significance. Chase’s Catholicism did. I think Taub is Jewish but that also barely comes up and again his name is Chris.

I think even if unconscious it’s that if it’s something to be celebrated or depicted positively, they “forget” or ignore Robby or Noah’s Jewish identity. So talk about inclusion and diversity and underrepresented identities?Jews just don’t count that way. Please read David Baddiel’s Jews Don’t Count.

If they want to use it for something negative, use an anti Jewish trope or cloud it in “Zionist” accusations, they “remember” or reference his Jewish identity usually with coded dog whistles they may not even be aware they are using.

Jews have always been defined based on that person’s perception. Most of the time Jews are grouped in as only “white” and our ethnicity erased if convenient for a narrative they are telling. More often than not if the perception that “white” is negative, inauthentic, without culture, Jews are uber white, extremely privileged, most likely rich, face zero adversity. For white supremacists, Jews never pass the test, not only are they not “white” but accused of great replacement theory of trying to poison the race. We are the definition of conditionally useful for their own psychiatry. It’s about them, not us. It is a Rorschach test based on the person speaking. Jews predate the concept of race.
