Enjoy the flavor of fresh juicy nectarines in a healthy frozen yogurt. This homemade treat is easy to make and perfect for a refreshing dessert on a hot day.
Ingredients: 4 ripe nectarines, pitted and chopped. 2 cups Greek yogurt. 1/2 cup honey. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
Instructions: Put the Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and chopped apricots in a blender. Mix until it's creamy and smooth. Put the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it for the amount of time the manufacturer says, which is usually between 20 and 25 minutes. Put the frozen yogurt in a container with a lid and freeze it for two more hours to make it firmer. If you want, you can top your fresh nectarine frozen yogurt with fresh nectarine slices before serving it in bowls or cones.
