Though, in all seriousness, let's not blame the company for what you've clearly done to yourself. Are your coworkers also busting out of their suits? If not, then there's one common denominator in this trend: you. You chose to put a cushy corporate job over your once active routine. You chose to devote your salary towards 24/7 snacks and luxury meals after work. You chose to splurge on the company's dime at lunch meetings and faculty events. Hell, I don't know anyone who visits the staff lounge more frequently for office-funded snacks. Every pound you've packed onto that pudgy paunch is a reminder of your poor decision making. So, the next time you want to blame your company, take a moment to consider who put you in this position.
