But while he waited for Hal to be within reach again, he kept spiraling about what his reaction may be and managed to convince himself that it will be bad, to the point that when Hal was close to Earth he didn't text or call, trying to postpone seeing Hal's reaction even though he would be home within an hour anyway. So when Hal is shocked and awestruck, gaping at him and their child, Bruce thinks this is the confirmation of his fears, only for Hal to reach out to take the baby in his arms, tearing up...
