This post talks about a new DM feature in youtube. What it fails to mention is that as part of this new feature is that when you send someone a link to a video, and they open it in the youtube app, they will see who sent them the link. Specifically, your channel name.

If your google account name is your real name, so is your channel name by default.

This means the new default behavior is that everyone you send a youtube link to will see your full name if they open it in the mobile app.

To turn this off:

Go to your youtube app settings

Go to Privacy

Turn off "Channel visibility for shared links"

In fact, one of the reasons DG’s run is often so heralded is because of the context of being right after Dixon. DG’s run is brutal enough that it would probably be a bit too cruel, had it emerged out of nowhere, but Dixon’s run was nothing but 60-70 issues of win after win after win.

He depicted Dick as an almost unbeatable figure (at least, when he did fail, it was minor and usually resolved by the end of the issue), with a status quo so engrained by this endless episodic cycle of success that it made the story a bit dry.

So when Devin took his world of Blüdhaven and its inhabitants, one that Dixon created and then cemented to the point of brittleness, only to shatter it, this made her run (at least in my opinion) legendary. I would honestly recommend reading at least some Dixon before Devin, even if it’s just to catch the “endless rise” vibe so you can fully appreciate the fall. Yum.

The usual scenario where Bruce pushes himself to the limit or pulls all-nighters, frequently shielding Dick and getting injured in the process; and Dick, having witnessed this time and time again, becomes so worried that Bruce might die that he can't sleep, resolving every night to get stronger (by @xylo_bee, 2020).
