Have you ever noticed how so many women can't write female characters without being accused of creating self inserts, especially in art forms that switch between writers and where there are usually far more men writing than women (like comics)? And that any "crime" of a female character written by a woman is immediately blamed on the author and the author is accused of wanting to do the same things, being romantically/sexually obsessed with the character's love interests, etc? Because I notice it a lot.
