In my headcannon, mobians dont wear wedding rings as it is hard with the gloves they all wear so instead they have an "ear piercing ceremony" where both people who are getting married get trained on how to pierce an ear so that they can do it for one another to symbolise their marriage and commitment to one another. Its also an act of trust to allow one to litterally stab your ear lol. Its more visible than a wedding ring and is permanent, humans have more of a habit of cheating or breaking up than mobians so they have less worry about a permanent love symbol as most mate for life once wed :)
