I love how aromantic coded sonadow are, and im bisexual too so yaknow, I'm drawn to gay/lgbtq ships in general😆✨️

I think the fact that they're not overly mushy makes me like them, and that their dynamic is also just a really fun one!

I realised all of my fav ships are rivals or enemys to lovers lololol so clearly i have a thing for that too😆✨️

It would take me AGES to type out everything i like about sonadow, ive never been this obsessed with a ship tbh so this is a new feeling for me haha

I write fanfic as well, and their levels of aromantisism and asexuality fluctuates depending on what story i wanna tell!

Usually i have them as demi aromantic or preferring a platonic situationship over a romantic one! I tend to prefer having Sonic as the more aromantic/romance repulsed of the two but ive written Shadow as equal parts romance repulsed and disinterested too.

I tend to love to write Shadow more in love with Sonic than Sonic is with him lolol, always liked the idea that Shads is a secret sap and Sonic gets all weird about romance stuff. I also like if Sonic is neither here nor there about sex/romance, kinda like "cool if we do, cool if we don't, its whatever!" I've always seen him as the type to not mind if his romantic declarations are rejected, in my mind he would just be all "oh, thats cool, we can still race eachother and hang out tho right? Yeah? Sweet!" Ya know? Haha he's a chill guy after all✨️ romance or no, he's just happy to be there.

No matter what tho i like to have at least a liiitttllleee bit of aromantisism with my sonadow or else i struggle to read/enjoy it as i am myself romance repulsed :) its why i dont post tons of shippy stuff outside of sonadow since i dont get obsessed over ships all that often and i prefer good story/world building over romantic plots. Sonadow is the first ship I've gotten overly obsessed with besides jonatello from tmnt2012 when i was a teenager lolol soooo, yeah.
