One of the servers has been so kind and brought Kongphob and Arthit a towel. Kongphob gently places it on P'Arthit's head and then scrunches his hair dry. For a quick moment it looks like P'Arthit is going to lean back, but then he halts in the movement and lets Kongphob rub his hair dry. While May can't see P'Arthit's face, she can see Kongphob's. The absolute adoration she detects in his features is almost enough to overwhelm her. There has been no moment he had ever looked at her even close to this. She can almost hear his voice in her head as he apologises for not reciprocating her feelings and admitting that he likes someone else instead.
