Mira. Listen. Listen listen listen. This post was originally going to be about how fascinated I am by the way Tee is using his eyes as Jane Patrick. I was going to talk about how his gaze manages to be so uncomfortably intense even when his voice and expression are really open and soft and how his eyes never really warm and always feel like they're looking through you in this really cold, borderline unsettling way and I was gonna talk about how his intensity was different from Minlee's intensity as Sun in Payback and it was going to be very articulate and interesting hopefully and I still might write it but L I S T E N

He got me. He did it, he got me. I would RUIN my life for this man. My stepmother did NOT like the way her Libertarian Viking Neighbor framed pregnancy as the fetus "attacking the woman". She incredulously told him this was extremely disrespectful to expectant mothers to portray pregnancy as so violent and negative.

Libertarian Viking Neighbor's response was that people consensually hurt each other all the time, and "there's like a whole community about that, with the acronym the one that starts with a B" And his reasoning was that if the mother was consenting to bring attacked by the baby, it in fact wasn't violent and negative because there was consent.

I will also say that I think the problems with the movie's casting, costuming, and color grading are all related. Like, Nolan went with the Hollywood Viking aesthetic because he thought Odysseus would look silly in a slutty little bedsheet. And it's like, no, you don't understand: Matt Damon would look silly in a slutty little bedsheet. 40ish Jason Mantzoukas in a thigh-length, rust-colored chiton, olive limbs shining in the Mediterranean sun, would send male-attracted folks everywhere into the stratosphere.

What’s that saying? We are the Universe experiencing itself. Well, these Artemis II astronauts are out there experiencing the universe on an entirely different level.

I’ll admit, I had this idea and I did not eat or sleep or move until it was done. It was just one of those things that you need to get out or it’ll stay a sketch forever. I changed up my style a bit for this one too, utilizing some of the more artsy procreate brushes I have never touched in my entire life as an iPad artist.
