how come this fictional character is not literally me and doesn't do exactly what i think i would do in any situation (which is of course inherently the Normal Standard Most Sensical way for a human being to act)? is this perhaps because the writing is bad?

really tired of people claiming that something isn't "real love" because their definition of love is like. treating somebody well, instead of just a feeling that is in itself morally neutral and can just as easily motivate actions that are abusive or otherwise hamrful
