I never imagined that reaching the final part of our journey would feel this difficult.

Speaking to my followers: if you haven't been keeping up-to-date with the current situation in Gaza, I can offer you one thing to put everything into perspective, and it's the camp you see below.
In Novemeber 2024, the camp was no bigger than the lines journalist Bisan Owda drew here and there was nothing up on that hill. Look at how massive it is now. There are hundreds of thousands of people living there. And all those trees? They were planted by the people who first ended up there after being displaced. Look at how large those trees are now. That's how long this genocide has been going on for.
And now let me give you one of the most recent updates to come out of Israel by German journalist Shelly Blufarb who followed a bunch of Israeli teens and people with their young children to the Gaza border where Israelis were protesting for the right to build settlements inside the Gaza strip:
One of the teens told Shelly: "All of this is our land and we'll fight for it!" And an elderly woman said: "I'm sure we'll return. Gaza is ours." That is the settler mentality all these people have been brainwashed into having.
While more and more Israelis are beginning to openly rise up and protest against the genocide, and the pressure on the EU to sanction Israel and cease all weapon shipments is mounting, the reality for people in Gaza remains unchanged. So please, if you can, donate as much as you can.

Side-note: It's no coincidence so many shitty people live in Israel. To quote Humanium:
Many accused American pedophiles have fled to Israel, taking advantage of the Law of Return, which grants automatic citizenship to Jewish individuals and their families, with minimal barriers. While criminal background checks exist, offenders can bypass these requirements in various ways, allowing them to evade justice (Walker, 2016).
Many sex offenders, including Malka Leifer, find refuge in ultra-Orthodox settlements in the West Bank (The Jewish Independent, 2024). Over 700,000 Israeli settlers reside in these areas, occupying Palestinian land in 150 government-supported settlements, which are deemed illegal under international law.
As a result, West Bank settlements have faced prolonged scrutiny over severe allegations of child sex abuse, including rape and child pornography. These cases, marked by extensive online exploitation and in-person assaults, underscore a troubling trend, as the settlements have been known to harbor individuals accused of sexual offenses for an extended period (The Times of Israel, 2023).

Additionally, a panel discussion was held in Madrid, and members of DieLinke - the German leftist party - have used the quote of Holocaust survivor Martin Lรถweberg "What isn't legal cannot be legitimate" in reference to the trial while demanding an end to the proceedings and fair treatment for the accused.
