Since I've started actually posting stuff, ig I'm making one of these now too-
Hello! you can call me fox, or any other variation of my username that vaguely sounds like a name. I don't like being perceived so I've been lurking in fandoms for a while now, but I'm trying to break out of that a little bit and actually contribute! That means writing fanfic and occasional character analysis, though don't quote me on that it might not happen very often
I don't have the patience or energy to learn to manage sideblogs properly, so everything goes here - I'm tagging things as best as I can based on fandom.
Current likes: VSMP, The Flight SMP. Also anything hermitcraft/life series/pow and that side of mcyt, though vapris was my first pow watch
Other likes you might see once in a while: mcr, music in general

In honour of @uncannyfig posting her version of The Divorce, here’s the beginning of Legs and Scott’s relationship
[cw: unhealthy relationships and emotional manipulation]
*.*
"So you're just going to leave, then?"
Legundo paused, hands hovering over the equipment he was beginning to dismantle. He glanced over his shoulder to the doorway. Scott was leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest, silhouetted by the lamp light behind him. He was all lithe lines and sharp angles, house robe hanging off his shoulders informally. Legundo swallowed, and turned back to his work.
"There is nothing more for me to do here, Master Goldsmith," he said. He heard Scott scoff, but other than that, he gave no response.
Lady Goldsmith had refused the cure. Legundo had found, over his many years, that refusal was actually a lot more common than acceptance. After a certain point, a lot of people were simply ready to die. Legundo could not begrudge them.
"I didn't take you as the type to give up, Doctor," Scott said, moving to enter the room properly. Legundo's hands clenched around the frame of the stand of vials, causing them to shift and clink together faintly. He swallowed and forced his fingers to relax.
"That's not what I'm doing," he said. Scott hummed, much closer to him that time. Legundo did not let himself turn around. He focused on continuing to pack up his equipment. He had been set up in the Castle long enough he had begun to — not settle in, but… there was a lot to pack up, for him to be ready to leave. As he worked slowly, he could feel Scott's eyes on him.
"I know this is hard for you, Scott," he said softly, when he could no longer stand the silence. He still did not turn to face Scott, could not bring himself to do that.
"And yet, you're walking away," Scott said. It was an accusation, but it was not said accusatorially. Scott's voice was soft, not quite sad but well on its way. Legundo lowered his hands and splayed them across the wooden surface of the desk.
"There are people out there who need my services. I have already lingered here long enough," he said slowly. He hated that it sounded like he was trying to convince himself as much as he was Scott. He felt the young noble draw close to his shoulder. He could hear the steady, even thumping of Scott's heart.
Scott had taken the revelation of Legundo's nature surprisingly well. If he felt fear, it was buried deep enough that Legundo could not sense it from him. Something had changed, in Scott's perception of him, but Legs could not say for certain what it was.
Warm fingers delicately touched his wrist.
"Legundo," Scott said, soft and coaxing.
"Don't—" Legundo growled. Actually growled, a proper, animalistic sound he usually kept out of his chest. Scott's hand snapped away from his wrist, but he did not step out of Legundo's space.
"Goodness," Scott breathed, and he sounded… impressed. He should have been terrified.
There was a long moment of stillness. Legs could feel the way Scott was still staring at him. And then, slowly and deliberately, Scott placed his hand on Legs' wrist once more.
"I have to leave, Scott," Legs said firmly.
"No," Scott said. "You don't have to."
"Scott—"
"No, listen," Scott continued. "You can work here just as easily as anywhere else. I can set you up a little clinic in the town. There's plenty of sick and needy in those streets, and even more who pass through with the traders. You can ply your trade, you can still do what it is you wish to do. But you could stay."
Legs' gaze could not leave the sight of Scott's thin, manicured fingers against the rough, scarred skin of his arm. The words burned him, like a slow drip of silver into his veins. Scott's hand was warm and soft against his skin.
"What do I have to stay for, Master Goldsmith?"
His voice was strained, every word pulled slowly from the depths of his guilt.
He was not a fool. He was a coward, a killer, a monster. But he was not a fool.
He did not have to understand why or how, to understand that Scott was… drawn to him. Some strange attraction that Legundo thought was entirely unfounded, but he could not deny the existence of it. He also could not deny that it was not unrequited.
Despite the lack of distance between them, Scott stepped closer. Legundo could no longer keep him out of his vision, with the way he curled around his shoulder, pressed against his side. He was warm, and Legundo could feel his heartbeat through the contact. It was not an embrace, but it was closer than Legundo had allowed himself in a very long time.
"Will you make me say it, dear Doctor?" Scott whispered. The hand not on Legundo's wrist settled gently on the high point of his hip. Despite his centuries of vampirism, and his history of facing down immense dangers, Legundo flinched.
"I cannot stay, Scott." He pushed the words out, but did not push the man away.
"You can," Scott said. "You should."
"I shouldn't."
"Kiss me."
If Legundo's heart had been beating, it would have stopped. His eyes, despite himself, snapped to Scott's face.
He was smiling. Sharp and clever and beautiful. Legundo sucked in a breath in an attempt to steady himself.
"What—?" His voice shook. Scott's smile curved even sharper.
"You heard me," he said, and he twisted himself even closer. Numbly, Legundo's arm shifted to allow Scott in the space between him and the desk where his equipment was half taken apart, forgotten amidst the conversation.
"Scott—" he warned, weakly.
"Kiss me," Scott repeated, firmly. "If you can do that, and still walk away, then I will concede. But I won't let you leave without a kiss."
There was nothing that Scott could actually do to keep him there. Legundo could simply take wing and never see Scott again.
He should.
Blue eyes sparkled at him, pretty and tempting. Legundo could still see it, what he knew was hidden behind the teasing glimmer. The loneliness, the sadness. The parts of Scott that he had only just seen hints of. The aching core beneath the gaudy exterior. The things he wanted to draw out and understand, then gently stitch back into him, to keep safe.
He needed to leave.
"I can't—"
Scott reached up, and ever so gently touched his cheek.

Now I'm just thinking, in a world where things go about as they did in canon and Abolish gets out to become a half-vampire (with Morcant's help and blood, of course)
There's the tiniest bit of bond between them, fainter even than a fully barred bond; but enough for Morcant to, one day, feel through it an amount of pain that he knows should be truly debilitating. And then Abolish comes back with several - hand sewn - sutured wound and all he has to show for it in the report is something like : "proceed with extreme caution when missions show signs of vampiric and lycanthrope presence, as in some rare cases they can coexist in the same host and heighten each other" or some placid bullshit like that.
And then Morcant knows he fucked this one up as well.
OK so divorce au but what if: Somewhat(¿ Legundo's sire appears and Scott is jealous/pissed off because he sees someone else that has power over Legundo, Over HIS husband. Maybe the sire is the one who is able to truly make Legundo shut down and its makes scott blood boil..., ofc assuming that Legs sire is just like how canon v!Scott was to v!Pyro or a similar attitude, but I put it as the default because of course the doc cant have a peaceful day.
Maybe Legs was turned in the war against his will, maybe his sire saw the potential on Legundo as a doctor and didn't wanted to loose it, who knows... (well you know bcs is ur au lmaoo). Maybe the sire is a oc or another cc hehehe
-🥩
I haven't thought too much about Legs' backstory in the AU, beyond it being similar to his canon backstory, just happened a lot longer ago, but I did imagine he got turned late in the war, after he had already poisoned the village. (Really solidify the whole I'm not a monster because I'm a vampire thing he has).
Whatever the circumstance, Scott would 100% HATE Legundo's sire, exactly for the reasons of power and control. Scott wants to be the only person occupying his husband's mind.
Especially if you add in sire bond stuff. Legs' has cut off his bond with Scott, blocking him out as much as possible. But imagine if Scott found out he hadn't cut off his sire?? Scott's feeding off scraps of what he can get when the bond manages to break through, and yet Legs' sire gets full connection? Fucking rude.
it *would* make things very messy. Because you *know* Morcant wouldn't mention it to Abolish - it's only a short mission, Abolish is just monitoring Legundo, they shouldnt have to interact much, after all. The fact that Legs is Morcant's fledgling isn't mission critical, so he doesn't say anything. (Plus it'll be funnier to see Abolish's reaction to that info *after* the mission, anyway)
You could also justify Morcant showing up in the middle of canon if you go with the whole "the barrier is a one way thing, people can come in but not leave", and have him realise a month or so in (maybe because of some of the things he's feeling through the sire bond with Legs) that maybe the mission is getting a bit out of hand, so he decides it's time he goes to deal with things himself.
hmmmmmmm I may have convinced myself on this.......... it's still a very silly thought... but this AU is very much equal parts tragedy and comedy.......
Abolish is having very mixed feelings about Morcant’s arrival because, on the one hand, by this point he's got the measure of his neighbours, and another sane voice in the crowd would not go amiss.
On the other, sir. Sir, I have this under control, I know I've been unable to report back, but this is literally my job, I've done more dangerous missions than this, did you really not trust me enough that you had to turn up halfway through this mission. Sir.
Only for Morcant to explain that, no, dear boy, he has no doubt in Abolish. It's his fledgling-in-law he doesn't trust.
and I think Legs would have avoided Morcant quite heavily, especially after the divorce because "he turned me to make me something better than a murder and look what I still turned into", so yes he is comforted by having his sire there but also The Guilt.
And you know Scott is being SUCH a pissy baby about all of it. New person shows up in town, after everyone has been trapped in a fishbowl of horrors for a month so suddenly Scott isn't the centre of attention anymore. *Plus* it's his ex-husbands' sire? *Double plus* it's his not-boyfriend's boss/parental-ish figure????? Scott would be having SUCH a tantrum about it.
He would also dial up the flirting with Abolish even more because it would be fucking Hilarious.
Oooh those are such good tags! It's also making me think about the parallels between Abolish and Legs and how messed up that gets whichever way you spin it.
Because if Morcant turned Legs after his massacre and gave him the tools to become a doctor, what do you mean he turned around and raised this kid as a living weapon, after knowing how it fucked him over??
And alternatively, if Morcant was one of the hands which steered Legs to commit his war crime, only for Legs to break away from it all, then his sire is still up to his old tricks and Abolish is being moulded into the same soldier he was
god yes ALL of this. Legs, who saw shadows of his former self in Abolish but wrote it off as him being unfair to the kid, suddenly realising that he was raised by Morcant - the man who turned him for [insert reason here].
I do love me some grey/amoral Elder Vampires. So what if we blend the two potential reasons here. Morcant turned Legundo in the early days of the Organisation - before it's really solidified as a Thing - after he committed the massacre of the town. Here is this incredible strategist, who works with brutal efficiency. He would be the perfect potential agent. So Morcant turns him, and through the sire-bond is slammed with an overwhelming horror of guilt.
Well, can't send that one out into the field then, he's just gonna find a way to commit an assisted suicide, Morcant thinks. But surely he could still be useful. So he hands him the tools to become a healer. And Legs grabs onto the opportunity with both hands.
But Morcant's got the Elder Vampire weakness of thinking "I have all the time in the world", so doesn't worry when Legs sets off to do his travelling doctor thing. He'll be back when he's ready, it's fine :)
Then Scott happens. Morcant writes Legundo off as a lost cause. Shame, but, the Organisation was still an experiment when Legs was turned, they've locked down a lot of the process now, and they have plenty of other agents.
And then six centuries later, Abolish Veylocke falls in Morcant's lap.

Thinking about scott x legs x abolish while at work free me i cant get them out of my head
Evil fucking polycule who would never ever see the light of day if any of them (except scott) can help it, aka: scott and the two men who hate that they're attracted to him, or even better: legs and the two men who are the embodiment of everything he hates (rich people abusing their power/authority and himself when he was younger). There is no world resembling their canon selves in which they are healthy
I dont think ive seen a name for this trio yet so i propose bloodlocke
I am SO FERAL about them
Scott having the time of his life while these men are sooooo pissed off by how much he’s gotten under their skin
Legundo guilt spiralling and Abolish compartmentalising every single reaction he has to both of them and Scott is just giddy
disgusting, awful, hideous polycule
I want them blended IMMEDIATELY
(I like bloodlocke, I’m bad at ship names so if anyone else has suggestions - or if they already have a name - throw them at me :) )
AU where every vampire has a soulmate, be they human or vampire as well. The vampire has no way of knowing who their soulmate is, no marks nor tethering strings. All except their bat form knows them at first sight, and in a flurry of instincts demands cuddles, returning whenever able much to the vampire’s lack of awareness or memory of the visits.
have this be why Scott accidentally bats during the house contest
It’s the first time that Abolish has stood close enough to Scott to trigger the soulmate instinct. Scott bats and just plants himself on Abolish’s chest
everyone is Freaking Out
and Abolish, who knows exactly what is happening, is just standing there like “oh no. No. Not this. Goddamn it.” (Absolutely stone faced, not visibly reacting at all, of course, he is a Professional).
