Something to add to this newely awakened rpf discourse is that we as a fandom — and no matter which fandom — need to start casting out people that can't follow the basic etiquette. Find their other socials, find their AO3 accounts, and block them. All of them. Especially if you are a creator and especially if you are not a creator involved in a leak. These people need to start experiencing genuine consequences for the shit they're pulling by leaking fics. If they cannot follow the rules we should do our best to bar the access to fandom creations
