Writing Prompt-oriented, however fanart prompts, headcanon prompts and anything else that comes to mind are welcome as well, whatever your heart desires.
This blog is run by one person, @grithogirl , and prioritizes fun over function and professionalism, so don’t expect perfect professional stuff*, I’m here because I love Minecraft blorbos just like you :D.

Blog is also run by a person who uses Tumblr exclusively on PC, and is best experienced in the dashboard than with mobile notifs on. (AKA, spam warning probably!)

There is no such thing as a “taken” prompt, even if there’s a million fics out there with the same premise, there’s so many people out there who’ve read every single one of them and are foaming at the mouth for a million more!

Be self indulgent! Crossovers, Mary Sues, indulgent AUs etc. are welcome and encouraged.
Prompts are allowed in any form! Be it a fully thought out concept, a “wouldn’t it be cool if…” a script-style character dialogue, barely legible rambles, etc. ad nauseam!
By submitting a prompt you hereby decree that you are not submitting it on the basis of someone else being able to “do it better”. Nobody can fulfill your ideas better than you can!

I ask that roleplay sparked by prompts be made under new posts and their threads / ask boxes / anywhere else that isn’t under my post, as it can clog up notifs. Feel free to copy paste with a link to the prompt post or just link to the post to give context to potential rp partners. Long continuation threads of fic prompts are allowed as I feel it’s more rare for them to get that long than it is for roleplays, lmao!
I’d prefer if no NSFW prompts are sent, as per the nature of MCRP fandoms having quite a few minors. No hate to those that enjoy that stuff :] Risque / mature prompts are allowed, as per the themes of blood and gothic romance that vampire fiction entails. If you’re unsure on the age rating of a prompt, send it in anyway! This account is run by an adult, and I’m happy to age rate it for you. Worst case scenario is I don’t post it. <3

also note that this won’t be completely accurate bc I’m going of a half listened to science class and it’s the middle of summer soooooooo
so I think that by drinking nutrient filled blood, it enters a vampires system directly and delivers the nutrients to all the parts of their body that need it. Human blood gives more energy then animal blood bc it has more nutrients and blood directly from a vampire has little to no nutrients bc it has all been absorbed by the vampire already. A vampire can still eat normal food but it will give no nutrients and will taste a lot duller then it did before they got turned.
AU post canon where vampire/s of your choosing open up a bakery that has grown in popularity to attract an obscene amount of vampires, perhaps some strangely familiar...

AU: His name is Jackie Scythe, he lives in New York City, where he moved to study to be a reporter before dropping out, and now works as a solo author specializing in horror and vampires. They don't know where they get the vampire ideas from, they just sort of spark in their mind like any other writer's ideas do, they're fine. He also sometimes works at the Coffee Shop of a friend of a friend, stocking the back and giving extra hands with evening clean-ups. It's fine. They have a couple friends, they're happy, everything is fine.
Then they lock eyes with ones of bloody crimson, so painfully familiar and sending a shock of fear down their spine. That's where everything went to shit.
OR: Reincarnation AU! Though more focused on the psychology and horror of memories of a past life, especially ones as traumatizing as v!Pyro's :]

AU where v!Scott and v!Louis were close before Scott was put to sleep, Louis taking the last name "Goldsmith" be it through romantic or platonic means. Later on when Louis is burned at the stake, a mourning v!Owen introduces himself as Owen Goldsmith after his 200 years buried.
Queue Scott being confused and curious about this stranger with his family's distinct last name.
AU where Scott Goldsmith never awoke from his 600 year slumber, one of the townsfolk, (Pyro? Abolish? More than one? Your choice!) find a body nestled away in a tomb in the depths of the ruined castle crypt, perfectly preserved despite the cobwebs and dust indicating it could have been centuries.
Perhaps they begin to study the corpse, to learn of the history of Oakhurst, or maybe the preservation itself, something that could be helpful in museums worldwide. Perhaps, at the expense of their own sanity, they begin to fall in love.
Okay, Scott wakes up 100 years early, Owen is still a killer, everyone he ever knew is dead, and he has no idea what's going on. But on the bright side the barrier isn't active because no one touched the beacons!
He leaves Oakhurst (after grabbing some gold that didn't get plundered) and heads put into the world, he figures out the rules of this new world in the first 20 years, might or might not meet Abolish's Organization. But he is an official citizen, which means he can be drafted.
The War rolls around and Scott gets drafted because his physical shows outstanding results. Scott has been in wars before, but not ones with guns. (Apparently tnt cannons though, that's actually cannon) He's in The War, he's on the front lines even. He is Very good at killing and not caring. (Idk if he tries to become a General or not, if he was one he wouldn't be allowed to get close and personal)
Now, I think he's on the same side Legs was, but you can decide he's on the other side.
But anyway, Doc tried to patch up any allies he could, in my vision this includes Scott. Scott got banged up and is bringing sewn up by Legs when he decides that he's just going to eat this soldier. (They are alone) He ends up turning Doc.
Doc rn doesn't think himself to be evil, just doing what he's told, so he's not particularly fussed about being immortal. This is where Bloodlothing starts.
Scott knows he's at least gotta teach this guy the basics, so he sticks around for a while. Legs begins to trust the immortal (asshole)* Guy, for some reason. They are sent to different groups and Doc does the Well Poisoning.
Eventually the war is won, Doc did still go through the character development, so he still hates himself for the 'Bloodless Victory'
IDK Really, this idea came to me in a dream. Scott gets released 100 years early, meets the Doc and gets some character development. My dream said that Doc turned Pyro before Oakhurst and idk why.

au where its already the future and while flying through new york Scott sees some big guys bullying and kicking someone already laying on the ground and covering in fear and for some reason he wants to intervene
proving Legs he can be better and all that
he scares the bullies away and he helps the guy up
When Scott asks his name, just to make sure that he is not back, he gets an answer.
The young man, the barely not a boy anymore, calls himself Jack.
He smiles at Scott like a rabbit trying to convince a wolf that it was dead.
Something in his eyes demanding not to be hurt.
Just like Pyro's, all those years ago at the lake.
Scott brushes it off. It was one guy, there were so many people in the city, Scott won't ever see him again. He did good Legs, isn't that enough?
And then Scott starts seeing him everywhere.
Jack has a habit of being bullied, it seems.
Scott does his best to help when he sees it, some part of him recognizing the look in Pyro's Jack's eyes.
He ends up talking to Jack more. Learning about their life, what they study, what they like.
And then Scott watches him wither.
Jack grows jumpy and distant. Flinching at shadows, he mumbles to himself and cries for minutes on end when Scott saves him again and again and again.
Scott does his best to get to know Jack, some part of him wanting to see it as redeeming himself for Pyro's everything.
Then Jack admits that he doesn't think he can take it anymore. That he's going to snap. He's going to kill someone.
Scott meets his eyes, and cannot force himself to see anyone other than Pyro.
He doesn't know what to do with that information. So when Pyro ends up on the news for murder, when Pyro is marked for death, Scott settles himself in the belief that it was proof that Pyro could never change. Not like he could.
A decade later he saves someone from being bullied.
If Pyro were one of the starter vamps, who would you want to be a starter vamp with them? And do you think that would make him more or less of a wet cat?
ouagahhhh let's think about this.
answering the second question first: if pyro is an old vampire I think he'd be scott goldsmith level insufferable. just fully separating himself from "the cattle" and overall employing the rhetoric he does in canon but after centuries he's FULLY believing his own bullshit. I think less of a wet cat in the sense that he's had centuries to hone his persona and powers and is far more uncaring. newer vampire starter pyro is still a wet cat
now as for his starting vampire colleague there's a lot to think about.... I think I've heard talk of doc or apo before and those are obviously fun... I think if pyro was with owen they'd just be the most dramatic pairing ever they're constantly evil monologuing at the town and all. hm I think shelby would be really interesting? because starter vamp shelby would be fully just "you're all going in my found family boxes ^_^ teehee" and I think that could bounce really well off of pyro who is just fully embracing his vampirism. they'd assemble world's worst nuclear vampire family and be so invested in creating a story out of the town's massacre/mass turning. yeah I might go with shelby for the purposes of this ask
