The most likely scenario is that without iron dome help or American easily targeted smartbombs for cheap, Israel starts attacking threats even more proactively with even less care for civilian casualties on the other side, and such becomes the new status quo for decades. Far more innocent Palestinians and Lebanese who committed no crime or violence and heck probably other neighbors too once they get the war bug again die and Israel stays exactly where it is.

Let's say there's more of a decoupling from the US and a more committed strategic and diplomatic alignment with say... India. (I'm not even going to go to China, let's try and be a little nice here) Israel is now even more explicitly tied into India's diplomatic issues WITH both Pakistan and China and India would have more of an interest in the Levant, possibly competing with RU and Chinese colonial interests in the gulf and Africa. Also, in addition to having to husband precision munitions more and going to dumb bombs, we'd be seeing a lot more deniable proxies or actions undertaken in the name of the same. Iran plays fuck-fuck games with Hez/Hamas/Houthis? Say hello to the Kurdish Liberation Front or whatever the 21st century equivalent of Ehud Barak in a dress with an Uzi is.
