This is a good OP. There were endless comments and replies about how "Nazis and fascists aren't people" Yes they are. They are people a lot of the people in the replies to this comment share ideas, opinions, and bars with. They like what they have to say.

The people who say this shit in response to posts like OP can't read, and they are more concerned about looking cool to their fellow fandom members in their self-policing panopticon. Before the 1979 Islamic Revolution, there were over 100,000 Jews in Iran, and over 30 synagogues in Tehran alone.

After Khomeini took over in 1979, over 90% of Iranian Jews fled religious persecution--roughly half of them to Israel, half of them to Los Angeles.

Now, only about 10,000 Jews remain, and they're religiously repressed, executed for doing things like killing a Muslim who tried to murder them in self-defense, and we're supposed to believe they have to share only one synagogue among them?

If it was true, I was prepared to observe that under Sharia Law, Jews can't build new synagogues, or fix up old ones. But Muslims can take synagogues that were vandalized or run-down and turn them into Mosques, but not the other way around.

So even if your "Israel bombed the only synagogue in Iran" lie was true, it's not the win for the Iranian Regime you think it is. It just further proves Jews are persecuted under IRGC rule.

A "pogrom" is specifically an organized riot aimed at massacring or expelling a Jewish community. It was coined by the Russians to describe the 20th century attacks on Jewish communities within the Russian Empire (particularly the Pale Settlement). And why does the Palestinian Authority's offer a literal "Pay to Slay" program, which gives more lifelong money every "martyr" and their families for every Jew killed.

-2000 Camp David Summit, where Israel surprised even their citizens by agreeing to all of Yassir Arafat's demands and then some: Would have given Palestinian Arabs all of Gaza, 96% of the West Bank, East Jerusalem as the Capital, a strip of land connecting the two, plus full monetary compensation and rehousing assistance for those displaced in 1948. Yassir Arafat refused and launched the Second Intifada instead.

-2001 Tabba Talks; same offer as before, but this time 97% of the West Bank while ignoring the carnage of the Second Intifada.

"Vegan leather" is mostly plastic, which breaks down and sheds microplasics. Contributing to the ever growing landfill and contaminated water supply issues we have. And worse, any left analysis reducing genocide to "something that can only be done on the basis of a specific American type of race-based oppression" *also* actively excludes femicide/extreme misogyny (which is probably THE most common historical and present genocidal activity globally), that of the disabled of all races and ethnicities (also depressingly common and still present worldwide), and the intentionally genocidal targeting of LGBTQI people (lots of places historically, present Uganda, and the current US regime is headed there too)
