Proper places for those things: Either tags on the original reblog (especially if they are short) or self-reblogs of the image-described reblog (especially if long or controversial takes). If it's short and obviously leads on from the image description: tags are reasonable (but you must make sure the tags also include "image described" or "video described" as appropriate). If it's long, do the image-described post first, then do a self-reblog with your commentary. It's reasonable but not required to queue this so that people can appreciate the fact the post has an image description, before getting to appreciate your insights (or lack thereof) into the subject. "Short" and "long" are somewhat subjective, but please at least try to keep it to one of those places, so that everyone can benefit from the comments.

hey so I actually don't think it's cool or funny that a bunch of f2 and f3 drivers are so bad at geography that they can't even identify the continent some landmarks/countries are in. To ignore for a second the level of ignorance and privilege in that video, it truly speaks poorly of the education these kids are missing on the mere HOPE of making it to F1 one day(when 90% of them won't), and I think it's actually really weird of F1/the cooldown room to post it like that.

How many of their erstwhile classmates in school would have the same problem? I feel like there's an educational experiment or three in this.

people are misreading it as an AI company and while they (unsurprisingly) reference AI a lot in their marketing spiels in non data brained terms i promise they’re basically a really fancy really really really big spreadsheet with bespoke configurations for companies to pull what they need how they need (including for AI shit, the big thing for marketing to enterprises these days). which is why i am really bemused by lando partnering with them as an individual as opposed to it being a mclaren partnership lmao

Google would probably block a data platform from being a McLaren sponsor since it has a product in that space. Lando has no such clash.

At least the ICU nurse near my bay had the twin merits of a) selecting a commercial radio station and b) picking one with good taste. (And checking with patients in earshot first that this was OK).
