Our name is Eight. We go by They/Them/Theirs/Themselves.

Welcome to Evanescence of Remembering Cherubic Eight (or ERC8).

We are an OA and TBMC survivor, and thus also programmed. We experienced this in childhood. We are an advocate for RAMCOA survivors around the world.

We are a psychology student and heavily believe that programming tools and methods can be used to deprogram harmful RAMCOA programs and reprogram for the system's safety health.

I will never understand people who don't believe in RAMCOA/Programming/OEA, or don't like the terms. What is so hard to comprehend that rich and or at least knowledgeable people/groups can and do abuse children? Can your brain not comprehend that there are sick individuals who would torture children so much that they split parts? It's not as hard to understand as one might think when you understand simple psychology and understand programming isnt as mystical as one may think, its psychology. No, i will not change my mind, im not antisemtic for labeling the torture i went through RAMCOA or a delusional person.

people get to discuss harmful conspiracies whereever we want. im truly sorry for what you went through but someone suffering in a way they describe using the terms and framework of a conspiracy doesn’t render that conspiracy no longer a conspiracy nor does it make that terminology and framework untouchable. maybe try listening to creature-wizard and others discussing why these concepts are conspiracies that we shouldn’t be continuing to promote by using those terms to describe real abuse (users who also make it clear the abuse IS real) instead of getting reactionary and defensive because critique of the language feels like denial of your experiences. I get that it feels that way but that’s not true or accurate to the practical reality of what people are saying and it’s shitty and disrespectful to act like they’re the same.

I understand that some people see terms like RAMCOA and OEA as "conspiratorial"; but for many of us, these terms emerged from lived, systematic trauma that we could otherwise not name. Survivors are NOT responsible for outsider paranoia; we're responsible for making sense of our own pain. If you truely believe the abuse is real, then please respect that survivors will use the language that helps them process, even if you disagree with it.

You are not entitled to regulate my vocabulary for your intellectual comfort. If you don't like my blog's terms, feel free to block. Survivors aren't obligated to center skeptics in our safe spaces.

This blog isn't a place for "debating" whether the language I use is real. And if our language makes you uncomfortable, you don’t have to involve yourself in it.

If your critique involves silencing sufferers, your arguement is not a critique, it's erasure. I clearly have "RAMCOA deniers" in my DNI list, if you would have taken a little time to look into my blog instead of instantly getting defensive about my newest post, you may have known.

something i think we should talk about more in the ramcoa survivor community is the fact that once your brain learns how to tap into survival mode and rely on adrenaline to keep you alive, it’s really hard to make it stop doing that.

good, for surviving trauma. bad for knowing what your actual limits are in everyday life.

the average person will only experience intense adrenaline that overrides their usual limits in a rare life or death scenario.

but if your brain gets used to life or death scenarios… it gets extremely easy to just flick that switch and go into crisis mode, even when you don’t actually need to.

i’m constantly hitting the point where i’m exhausted or in pain and don’t want to continue, but it never becomes a case of can’t. i just hit survival mode and keep going.

(brought to you by 10 hours straight of driving yesterday, about five and half hours of sleep, and then another 5 hour round trip today to get a tattoo, with the last real meal i had being 8:30pm the night before (during the aforementioned 10 hour drive). i only processed that i was probably playing with fire on the way home from the tattoo, as i felt my brain refusing to shut off into full exhaustion, triggering pain signals in my fresh tattoo repeatedly to keep me awake. and i have work tomorrow.)

so… psa, ramcoa folks. try to figure out what your limits are and when you’re pushing past them, because the consequences on your body stack up.
