the whole point of a perfect rape victim is that she is dead. while the level of vilification can depend on the circumstances, ultimately, as long as she is alive, she's a nuisance. if she's hysterical, she has no credibility. if she's calm and collected, she's a liar. if she's hot, she was asking for it. if she's ugly, she shouldn't complain about getting some attention. if she's young, this will undermine every decision she makes for the rest of her life. if she's old, she might as well have not spoken up about it. the only victim worth seeking justice for, the only victim worth the sympathy, is a dead one. you aren't supposed to survive, if you've been raped. the rape is a way of killing you.
