I will be forever grateful to @br.enda for sharing her love for it, which caused me to buy it. I’ve not read anything so reflective and heartwarming in a long time. So many reviews I’ve seen talked about how you can’t help but smile when reading this book, and that’s the truth! It left the biggest grin on my face and tears flowing because of just how beautiful it is. While this book left me with ALLLLL the warm and fuzzies, it definitely wasn’t all warm and fuzzy on the journey there. The message of this story is so deep and something in our current climate that is extremely important. The story touches on prejudices and being quick to judge someone because they aren’t the same as you. It just has the most incredible message. 💗REVIEW💗 Hi, yes it’s me. I’m posting an actual review on my feed. 😱 I have a highlight on my account for them, but I’m seeing that most of you really enjoy them in feed thanks to @readingwithmegan poll she did recently, soooo....I’m going to work on that. I was honestly already thinking about when I could reread this WHILE I was reading it. I can’t believe I waited so long to dive into this one! It’s been on my shelves for years now. This story was full of complex characters and a unique world, which means it was kind of a slower story than I usually care for, but yet it worked. I love Paige so much. She’s such a strong heroine and I felt like she had a good bit of growth in this book, and I hope for so much more in the sequel. Warden...oh Warden...I have such hope he will be back in such a big way in the next installment and I’m so ready. I did listen to the audio for this one, which I felt like really made it even better. The narrator is amazing and they just typically help me when a book is slower paced. I will definitely be starting Mime VERY soon! . So guys, how’d I do? 🤣 Has anyone else read this series?
