In general, how often would you say that you feel genuinely happy? Like the ACTUAL emotion itself, when you can literally feel the happiness chemicals in your brain doing their thing
all the time, or almost all of the time
on a daily basis
on a weekly basis
on a monthly basis
a few times a year
on a yearly basis
a few times a decade
less often than a few times a decade, but not never

other, but not often
never, or hardly ever
too inconsistent to say/results
(When I was 16, I was asked by a mental health professional when “the last time I felt happy” had been. The question left me speechless, because despite wanting to cooperate and having a very good memory, I couldn’t think of a single truthful answer. Ever since then I’ve been keeping track of instances when I felt genuinely happy, and almost 13 years later it’s only been four times- so I myself would go with the “few times a decade” option, here. I’m not looking for faux-diagnoses or "help", I have a good idea as to why I am the way I am and ABSOLUTELY don’t want to change, I’m just very curious to know what other peoples’ experiences are like.)
